BDS AGM 2017

British Deer Society AGM Weekend 2017

Saturday 13th/Sunday 14th May 2017 - * This event has now taken place *

The Society will be holding its annual weekend meeting in South Wales, located in the beautiful Usk Valley at the five-star luxury spa and golf Celtic Manor Resort within 2000 acres of parkland.  We have been given excellent accommodation rates at the resort including full English breakfast and we anticipate a really great weekend.

Members arriving on Friday evening are asked to please make their own dining arrangements either within one of the resort restaurants or there is decent pub grub and eateries to be found down the road in Caerleon or Newport.

Saturday will revolve around a series of seminars and include updates on BDS research projects, new work in the offing, items of interest and end with a gourmet venison master class by the National Culinary team. Saturday evening will start with pre-dinner drinks and a true Welsh welcome followed by the Society Dinner.

Sunday morning will allow for a slow leisurely breakfast with maybe time for a stroll or luxuriating in the spa before gathering with others arriving to attend the AGM formal meeting. Following on from the business and general discussions there will be a pre-paid sandwich buffet lunch available for members before travelling homeward.

We much hope to welcome as many members as possible to this weekend and wish to thank our generous sponsors Celtic Manor Resort for helping making this event possible.
