BDS is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Brooks as its new Head of Training Development.
Chris who lives in Norfolk has worked in the deer industry for many years, formerly with the Deer Initiative and then for BASC as Deer Officer and Central England regional officer. Chris has worked as a trainer and DMQ assessor for the past ten years and brings much knowledge and experience to this new role. As well as wild deer, Chris has much experience with park and farmed deer and brings with him a lifelong passion for deer.

I look forward to building on this foundation to take the Society’s initiatives into the future seeking out new technologies and developing a range of opportunities. I hope that this will enhance and strengthen the BDS position as the leading provider of deer-related training and education in the UK.
As well as being a keen stalker, I am passionate about promoting venison as a healthy, tasty and affordable meat that should appear on the dinner tables of families from all walks of life.”
