The Deer Stalking Certificate 2 (DSC2) qualification enables candidates to demonstrate their knowledge and competence in legally, safely and humanely culling deer.
DSC 2 is assessed on the basis of evidence that the candidate collects in the DSC2 electronic portfolio Once registered, candidates have three years to complete their evidence gathering. Any evidence that is more than 3 years old will not be considered.
To achieve the DSC 2 award a candidate must demonstrate that they have stalked, humanely dispatched, inspected, transported and prepared deer for storage, to the required standard, under witness observation
Deer Stalking Certificate 2 is a standalone qualification but is aligned with National Standards.
