MORE ROYAL MAIL STRIKES – UPDATE
The CWU has formally notified Royal Mail they plan to call on their members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters to take national strike action on, Friday 9 December, Sunday 11 December, Wednesday 14 December and Thursday 15 December 2022.
This is expected to cause significant disruption to Royal Mail services.
Royal Mail does have contingency plans; however, they cannot fully replace the daily efforts of its frontline workforce. Therefore, the British Deer Society expects delays to its postal service not only on the strike days themselves but also on subsequent days while the service resumes and deals with any backlogs.
