The Chairman of The British Deer Society, Professor Rory Putman, has informed the Board of Trustees that he intends to stand down in May.
Professor Putman became a member of the Society in 1976. Throughout his 45 years, Rory has worked tirelessly to support the work of the BDS and has been a tremendous advocate for the management and wellbeing of deer. His decision not to stand for re-election and to stand down as a Trustee will be a huge loss for the Society.
We would like to thank Rory for his contribution and support to the work of the Society over many years.
