OUR AIMS

BDS aims to provide a range of opportunities for people to discover more about wild deer. We want to encourage an understanding and appreciation of deer and their place within our natural landscape.

Where deer and humans come into conflict we aim to help provide the best advice to ensure deer are managed in a humane and sustainable way.

In addition, we work to raise the public’s awareness about deer including respecting their need for a safe, peaceful and sustainable environment.
