On 8th October, Bryden Ritchie gave a fascinating presentation on Gun Design and Development from 1770 to 1900. Bryden has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the subject. Bryden and his wife brought along many fascinating items to illustrate his talk.
On Saturday 22 June 2024 in ideal weather conditions at Lothian & Borders Rifle Club, BDS SE Scotland members shot for the Wilf Cross Trophy. Targets were shot at 100m and 200m from a variety of positions to simulate field use of a stalking rifle.
