The Annual General Meeting of the Members of the British Deer Society (a Company Limited by Guarantee and a Registered Charity) will take place online on Sunday 14th May 2023 at 10.00 am.
The meeting is being held online which over the last few years we have found to be much easier for our members as it reduces many of the cost and travel barriers that can prevent members from attending. We warmly encourage as many members as possible to attend. As this is an important official meeting we do need members to register in advance of the meeting by emailing BDS at firstname.lastname@example.org before 10 am on Friday 12th May 2023 including your name, email address and membership number.
Please note as this is an online meeting you will need internet access and an email address to receive joining instructions. When you join the meeting we ask that you use your first and last name and not a nickname or someone elses name as this is an offical meeting were a voting will take place.
As of the 13th of April – Voting papers are being sent to all members with their Spring edition of the Deer journal, and we strongly urge all members to vote by completing and returned these papers even if they are able to join on the day. Where possible we are asking members to submit their votes in advance of the meeting although voting will also be available on the day via an in-meeting polling form.
