Rifles: A rifle legal for shooting deer in the UK is required for the shooting assessment. Any candidate who wishes to borrow a BDS Club rifle may legally borrow one free of charge under the BDS. To be eligible to borrow a rifle you must be a member of the BDS and will be asked to complete a Section 21 Declaration Form, unless a valid FAC is held.
FAC holders must have their certificates with them so they are able to sign the range register and therefore be able to comply with society rules and regulations.
