ABOUT THE TROPHY
Many BDS branches hold their own local photo competitions and each year our ranches are invited to enter their top three photographs to win The Dulverton Trophy.
Even if the branch has not run a local competition it can still select three photos from the branch members to enter the competition through a fair selection process.
The competition closes on 31st March of the current year.
If you are a BDS member and wish to enter a photograph for The Dulverton Trophy please contact your local branch.
COMPETITION CRITERIA & RULES
- Feature wild or park deer, UK native species, in any situation
- All images entered must be of live deer
- Photographers must follow the BDS code of conduct.
- Pictures must be obtained legally with the landowner’s permission where necessary
The winning photographs will be exhibited as appropriate.
The judges will have the final decision, and no correspondence will be entered into by the judges or organisers regarding either the judging or organisation of the competition.
